Blended training

English for Global Project Management is an English language course that deals with the challenges facing those who run or take part in international projects, covering all aspects of communication and people management from the initial kick-off meeting to the project’s closing. English for Global Project Management provides comprehensive training in the skills necessary to communicate successfully in international business: relevant language skills, communicative ability, people management skills and intercultural competence.

Participants

Project managers who run or take part in international projects.

Course overview

This training includes extensive speaking and listening activities, professional input, skills practice, intercultural awareness-raising and case study discussions. The training is offered as an individual training or with small groups (up to 3 participants). Each class requires some preparation, which will take about 4 - 6 hours per session. The course consists of 12 online meetings, which we will schedule by mutual agreement.

Learning goals

To provide you with the language and communication skills you need to work and manage projects internationally. To provide you with insights and tips for dealing with the practical challenges of managing and working in international projects.

MATERIALs

The course is based on the student’s book Managing Projects by Bob Dignen and the virtual learning environment Moodle. This training course includes most topics of the training NLP for Project managers.

The course fee is €2,750.00.
